When the Colorado Avalanche joined the NHL in 1995, they did it in a big way. After moving from Quebec, where they were the Nordiques, they made the play-offs an insane nine times in ten years, and turned two of those playoff seasons into Stanley Cup wins. Two Stanley Cups is impressive on its own, but a 90% playoff showing is unheard of. The Avalanche were in fact the first ever team to win the Stanley Cup after a relocation (before 95 they were the Quebec Nordiques).
